- Free for up to 100 products. Paid plans start at $9.99 a month with a 7-day free trial, billed through Shopify.
- An optional baseline boost adds a number you choose to the real count; it is off by default and you stay responsible for truthful claims.

Questions
How does ShopPulse count viewers?
Each open product page sends a small check-in about every 15 seconds. A visitor counts for 30 seconds after their last check-in and then drops off. Counts are kept per product, a hidden tab pauses its check-ins, and the widget sets no cookies.
Is the number real-time and real?
It is close to live, not instant: the number refreshes about every 15 seconds. By default it is the number of shoppers with that product page open right now. An optional baseline boost, off by default, adds a fixed number you choose, so when you use it the figure shown is higher than real activity.
What is the baseline boost, and is it safe to use?
It is a display adjustment in Settings. You decide whether to use it and you are responsible for keeping your store's claims truthful under the consumer-protection rules in your market. If you want honest numbers only, leave it at 0 and set a minimum count so the message stays hidden when few people are looking.
Will it work with my theme?
ShopPulse is a theme app block, so it works with Online Store 2.0 themes that support app blocks. You add the Visitor counter block to the product template in the theme editor; there is no code to paste. It renders on product pages only.
Can I choose where and when it shows?
Yes. You can switch it off per product, show it only between set hours in your store timezone, hide it on mobile or desktop, and (Basic and Pro) limit it to chosen countries or A/B test two messages.
What does it cost?
Free is $0 for up to 100 products. Basic is $9.99 a month, Pro is $19.99 a month. Paid plans start with a 7-day free trial and are billed through Shopify, in USD.
Does it slow down my store?
It adds one small script and one stylesheet, only on product pages, and it pauses while the tab is hidden. We do not publish speed numbers because they depend on your theme; check your own store with Shopify's speed report before and after.
What happens to my data if I uninstall?
The counter stops showing straight away. Your settings, product rules and analytics are deleted when Shopify sends its shop-redact request, about 48 hours after uninstall. Visitors' check-ins hold only a random session id, never names, emails or IP addresses.
